Re-birth of Louis Armstrong featuring Dean Simms and Hot Notes Band

Virtuoso trumpeter Dean Simms, as Satchmo, is the leader of this awesome tribute to the master itself, Louis Armstrong. His singing style as well as his playing, showmanship and on-stage is truly amazing!

Hear Dean and his band perform renditions of Basin Street Blues, St Louis Blues, Wonderful World and show stopping performance of the Saints Go Marching In and Hello Dolly.

Dean Simms is well versed in various styles of music genres. He has played or recorded lead trumpet with many famous acts, such as the Ohio Players, Rick James Stone City Band, Peabo Bryson, Little Anthony, Roger Troutman, and many more.

The Jazz fest for St. Charles is suppose to be free, According to the city page for St. Charles. But you’re charging $15 to get in, why is that?

Hi Peggy, I am curious as to where you saw the word free, as we have looked on the and websites and don’t see this wordage? The downtown plaza stage run by the city of St. Charles may be free, but the individual businesses that have coordinated and paid to have performances on their properties are able to charge covers at their discretion to cover costs.
